This soft cover, comb bound cookbook is in lightly read condition with just a little wear to the covers from use and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. A few pages have a paper clip mark at the top of the page from marking a favorite recipe. Took the paper clip away, but there's a light indentation to the page.
Chapters include: Soups & Gumbos, Salads, Sauces & Seasonings, Seafood, Meats, Poultry, Egg Dishes, Vegetables & Grains, Desserts. There are 255 pages including index.
Basic French cooking, gusty Spanish flavors, creativity, and a lot of love are Leon Soniatis ingredients for la bouche CrEole (the Creole mouth). Interwoven with the recipes are the authors recollections of New Orleans and of cooking with memere (grandmother) and mamete (mother).
