Here is another great church cookbook from Minnesota. THIS one is a soft cover, comb bound cookbook titled.. The Sampler A Collection of Our Favorites from St John the Baptist Parish in New Brighton MN. There is no date, but I would guess from the the 1980's. The front and back covers show some wear at the edges and a few small creases from use and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 97% free of marks, stains or writing. A few recipes have added notes. What is great about this cookbook is that there are light green chapter markers that contain the recipes contained within that chapter. There are 338 pages---no end of the book index with an average of 2-3 recipes per page.
Some of the chapters include... Appetizers, Dips and Beverages, Meats & Main Dishes, Vegetables & Side Dishes, Salads & Salad Dressings, Breads, Desserts, Cookies -- Bars --- Candy, Misc. Still has the added sheet of paper for corrections to the recipes!
