Here for your cookbook collection, a must have! An early edition of the classic Fannie Farmer cookbook titled---The Boston Cooking School Cook Book by Fannie Merriett Farmer. THIS copy is from 1944. A hard cover book in used, but good for its age condition with some small stains to the front and back covers, and wear at the edges from use and re-shelving. INSIDE there is a crack in the spine towards the front of the book, but otherwise the book is sturdy for its age. Pages are at least 95% free of any marks, stains or writing. Pate 714 had a mishap when the cook worked with sugar and two pages stuck together creating a tear. Last page in the book—an index page—has a crease toward the bottom from a hasty close of the book.
The cookbook has 823 pages including index with 100’s of timeless “from scratch” recipes!
