Here's a great church cookbook (bound--not a spiral or comb spine) from the Covenant Women of New London Minnesota titled.... COVENANT COOKING CORNER
This recipe collection is from 1979. It measures 5 1/2" wide by 8 1/2" tall and has 295 pages. It is in good used condition with just a little wear to the front and back covers from use and re-shelving. A small splash stain on the cover that trailed to the side pages of the book--but nothing shows on the pages. Back cover clean. INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing.
Chapters include: Beverages, Breads, Cakes & Frostings, Cookies & Bars, Desserts, Foreign Foods (which includes: Danish Puff, Fattigman, Norwegian Flat Bread, Kringla, Krum Kaka, Lefse, Norwegian Kringlar, Ost Kaka, Swedish Sausage, and Taco Shells!), Main Dishes, Meats, Pickles & Preserves, Salads & Dressings, Snacks and Vegetables. There's an average of two recipes per page and sprinkled through the book are black and white photos of the ladies in the kitchen. Very fun! Each recipe has the name of the contributing cook.
