Here's a great copy of the very hard to find vintage cookbook titled...
THE ISRAELI COOK BOOK
Written by Molly Lyons Bar David, and dedicated to El Al Airlines! THIS is a 3rd edition and was published in 1972 (originally published in 1964.)
This hard cover cookbook is in very nice condition for its age with only minimal wear to the edges of the front and back covers from reading and re-shelving. The only thing I could find on the outside was a small ding in the spine of the book's fabric--minimal! INSIDE, the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing. This cookbook measures just under 6 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall with 422 pages and 700 recipes!
Chapters include: Appetizers, Breads, Eggs & Egg Dishes, Cheese & Cheese Dishes, Grain Dishes, Fish, Soup Garnishes, Soups, Pancakes, Dumplings, Pasta, Matzo & Matzo Meal Dishes, Meats, Poultry, Salads & Salad Dressings, Sauces, Relish & Pickles, Vegetables, Fruit, Desserts, Cakes, Cookies, Pies & Pastries, Preserves, Candy and Beverages. There's an average of two to three recipes per page. A great bonus is that recipes are marked for Holidays such as Passover!
