Here's a great wire spiral cookbook from the community theatre (theater) group in
ALEXANDRIA, MINNESOTA
THEATRE L'HOMME DIEU Cookbook 25th Anniversary 1985
The cookbook measures 5 1/2 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall with 314 pages. The book is in lightly used condition for its age--over 20 years old with a few small stains on the covers. The inside cover has a square of discoloration from a sticker that came off (still have the sticker) that listed the people involved with the theatre back in 1967.
INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of stains, marks and writing. There is a gift inscription on the forward page from a daughter to her mom. A few pages have ripples from a water spilling event that was quickly dried, but there are small waves on a few pages.
Chapters include: Canapes & Beverages, Soups, Breads (including waffles, pancakes, dumplings and preserves), Salads and salad dressings, Luncheon Dishes (including egg dishes, casseroles (aka HOT DISH in Minnesotan), hearty salads and sandwiches, Meats--sauces and stuffings, Fish, Fowl, Game, Vegetables--canning and pickling, Cakes--icings and fillings, Candies, Cookies--bars and Christmas cookies, Desserts and Pies! There's an average of three recipes per page with the name of the contributing cook.
A VERY good community comfort food cookbook! YUMMY!
