Detailed instructions and diagrams show the beginning or accomplished knitter how to incorporate a wide variety of Fair Isle knitting designs into original garments.
This book is 13 X 9 with 119 pages, some wear and small tears to the dust jacket, the book is in good condition
This is primarily a book with garments based on "Fair Isle" technique, but not traditional Fair Isle motifs. Mushrooms, bees, berries and such are the motifs -- an interesting change from OXOX. The color charts are easy to follow, but the book is weak in technique and most of the patterns are for children.
This is a decent book for Fair Isle reference.
It is loaded with color photos and patterns. Of course there is the how-to section with a few pages on designing your own knitwear. The pattern sizes range from young children to adults. The patterns are dated in style and color but there is still much in the book to be useful.
REMEMBER---books are mailed via media rate mail to give you the best deal on shipping. The down side is that media rate mail can take up to three weeks for delivery!
