Here's a vintage cookbook from Oklahoma titled... Casady Cooks' Book: Favorite Cuisine: a Cache of Cooks' Treasures 2nd Edition from 1961 by Casady Mothers' Club. This hard cover cookbook is in good used condition for its age with just a little wear and a few small stain to the front and back covers from reading and re-shelving. A little wear and rubbing on the top and bottom spine. There are splashes on the top and side of the book--but faded and they really don't show on the pages of the book. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
This cookbook is an unusual collection of submitted recipes because some are typed out, and others are hand written. Some drawings are sprinkled through the book too! It measures about 6 inches wide by just under 9 inches tall with 527 pages PLUS index! An average of one-two recipes per page.
