Here is a great community cookbook titled... The New Treasury of Treats Cambridge Woman’s Club Minnesota MN 1971
This comb bound cookbook is in used, but good condition with some wear and discoloration to the plastic covers that cover the front and back covers -- which did a great job of protecting the cookbook’s printed covers. The covers only show a little wear, most at the edges from use and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 97% free of any marks, stains or writing--the only thing I could find that was outstanding was a stain on the last 4 pages of the book at the top corner of the page. The cookbook has 198 pages with no index. There is a faint “stored in the attic” scent to the book---NOT smoke.
Chapters include: Appetizers & Beverages, Breads (Quick & Yeast), Cakes, Candy & Confections, Canning & Preserving, Desserts & Sauces, Fish-Fowl & Game, Main Dishes, Meats & Sauces, Pies, Salads & Dressings, Sandwiches, Scandinavian Cookery (Recipes are on pages 185-190) and Vegetables. There are an average of 3-4 recipes per page with the name of the contributing cook.
