Here is a wonderful example of a Minnesota church cookbook that not only has great "from scratch" recipes. but also a heritage chapter that has Norwegian and Swedish recipes too!
This cookbook is from the Emanuel Lutheran Church Minneapolis, Minnesota 1974.
This wire bound cookbook HAS BEEN USED-- there is wear at the top and bottom edges of the covers and pages from a repeatedly bad re-shelving. Normally I wouldn't offer this cookbook, but the recipes are too good.
INSIDE, the inside front cover has the name of the original owner, but other that a few notes by the cook, and a few faint splatters and stains, the pages are at least 97% free of any marks, stains or writing. Just that wear to the top and bottom edges (especially by the spine--see pics.) of the pages.
Chapters include: Appetizers --Soups --Sandwiches, Beverages, Breads, Cakes, Candies, Casseroles, Main Dishes, Cookies, Desserts, Meat --Fish --Poultry, Pickles & Preserves, Pies & Pastries, Salads, Vegetables and hints. There are 147 pages and there is an average of 4 recipes per page PLUS ads from businesses!!
REMEMBER----books are mailed via media rate mail to give you the best deal on shipping. The down side is that media rate mail can take up to three weeks for delivery.
