Here is an older wire bound cookbook from the Duluth Woman's Club Cookbook from Minnesota.
Unfortunately, the cookbook isn't dated but from the paper used, the font, the recipes I would say that it was easily over 35 years old. In fact, after the first blank page, it goes right into the list of chapters.
There is some wear to the covers at the edges and spine from use and re-shelving. The front cover at the top wire ring is loose, but just that one. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
Chapters include: Menus, Appetizers, Beverages, Soups, Yeast Breads, Quick Breads, Pancakes- Waffles- Doughnuts, Luncheon Dishes, Sandwiches, Vegetables, Meat- Poultry- Game, Meat & Vegetable Sauces, Salads, Molded Salads, Desserts, Refrigerator Desserts, Cakes, Pies & Pastry, Dessert Sauces, Cookies, Candies, "I made it myself', and "Our men and their cooking."
There are 135 pages with an average of 4-5 recipes per page!
