Printed in 1981--their 125th Anniversary. This is a 3 ring binder soft plastic cover recipe collection that is filled with comfort food classic "from scratch" recipes.
The light plastic cover is in good condition and INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing. Even minimal wear where the holes meet the binder--no loose pages that I could find!
Chapters include: Appetizers & Beverages, Breads, Cakes--Frosting & Fillings, Candy, Cookies & Bars, Soups & Sandwiches, Salads, NORWEGIAN, Meats & Main Dishes, Desserts--Pastries & Pies, Canning, Microwave, Low-Cal, and Hints. There are 260 pages and an average of three recipes per page.
The Norwegian section covers pages 140-145 and includes A "Norwegian" chapter includes the following treats: Fatig-Man, Fattigmand, Fruit Soup, Swedish Fruit Soup, Kransekake Garland Cake, Krumkake, Knekkebrod, Cream Lefse, Potato Lefse, Lefsa, Potato Flakes Lefse, Scandinavian Potato Lefse, Rosettes, Rollepolsa and Rummegrut.
