Here's a fun church cookbook from the
BETHLEHAM LUTHERAN CHURCH in JOLIET ILLINOIS titled...
BICENTENNIAL COOKBOOK
Recipes of American and Scandinavian Heritage
This comb bound cookbook was compiled by the Bicentennial Committee of the Church. The soft cover recipe collection measures about 6 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches tall with 148 pages. The front cover shows some stains and a few small tears at the top edge of the cover. Back cover a few light small splashes. INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing.
Chapters include: Appetizers & Soups, Breads--Rolls--Muffins, Salads & Dressings, Meats & Casseroles, Vegetables, Cakes, Desserts, Pies, Cookies, Candy, Sandwiches--Relish, Swedish Foods (pages 124-148 with an average of two recipes per page!) Recipes are hand typed out and has the name of the contributing cook.
REMEMBER----books are mailed via media rate mail to give you the best deal on shipping. The down side is that media rate mail can take up to three weeks for delivery!
