Here is a great vintage community cookbook (circa 1962) from the Woman's Auxiliary of the Ebenezer Home Society. Cookbook from Minneapolis MN.
This comb bound cookbook is in very lightly used condition for its age with minimal wear to the front and back covers from use, reading and being stored in the kitchen. Just a small dot on the back cover. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. The first page has a price of a $1 in pencil from years ago. Otherwise, the pages are clean.
Chapters include: Appetizers, Breads, Cakes, Candy, Casserole Dishes, Cookies, Desserts, Doughnuts & Fritters, Dumplings, Frostings & Icings, Meats, Pies, Punch, Salads & Dressings, Sandwiches, Sauces, Sauces, Soups, Vegetables, FOREIGN FOODS (in Minnesota that means Scandinavian Recipes!) Breads, Cakes, Cookies, Desserts, Fish & Meats.)
Quantity Cooking, and more! There is an average of three recipes per page with the name of the contributing cook and there are 159 pages. A great example of "from scratch" comfort food recipes from the heart of Minnesota!
