Here is a great comb bound cookbook titled the 120th Anniversary Cook Book from the Lutheran Churn Women of the First Lutheran Church in Moline Illinois
There is a clear plastic cover over the front and back covers that has helped to keep the covers in better shape with just some age discoloration and some light wear to the edges from use and re-shelving. There is a small section of the plastic missing on the back cover. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. (Only found a few small notes by a few recipes.)
Chapters include: Favorites from the Parsonage, Appetizers - Beverages - Sandwiches - Soups, Breads & Quick Breads, Meats & Fish, Sauces, Casseroles & One Dish Meals, Vegetables, Salads & Dressings, Cakes - Icings - Fillings, Pastries & Desserts, Cookies, Candy, Preserves & Canning, Smörgåsbord & Foreign Dishes--Several classic Swedish recipes, Quantity Cooking, Misc.
There is an average of 4-5 recipes per page with 210 pages--no index. Each recipe has the name of the contributing cook.
REMEMBER----books are mailed via media rate mail to give you the best deal on shipping. The down side is that media rate mail can take up to three weeks for delivery.
