Here is a wonderful church cookbook from Braham Minnesota (MN) circa 1969 titled....
KITCHEN TREATS
This wire bound cookbook is in loving used condition, but it is still in very good and filled with hard to find "from scratch" comfort food and Scandinavian recipes.
The front cover has a few faded stains and at the bottom edge, the cover has torn away from the spine about two inches. On the inside cover, the cook taped several recipes--some have faded with age--there is one recipe taped to the inside of the back cover and the back cover has only a little wear to the edges from use and re-shelving. INSIDE, the title page has an old price in pencil at the top of the page. Other than that, the recipe pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
The cookbook has 166 pages including several pages of ads from local businesses in the area sprinkled throughout the book in black and white. There is an average of 4-6 recipes per page.
Chapters include: Breads, Cakes & Frostings, Candies, Cookies, Desserts, Luncheon and Casserole Dishes, Meats & Vegetables, Pickles & Preserving, Pies, Salads & Dressings, Misc Recipes (which actually has several standard Swedish and Scandinavian recipes from pages 150 to 158.
