Here's a great comb bound cookbook from the CHURCH of ST MARK in St Paul, Minnesota. The cookbook doesn't have a date, but one of the ads from businesses in the back of the book says 1992.
This recipe book measures 7 inches wide by just over 8 3/4 inches tall with 346 pages of recipes PLUS another 20 pages of ads and helpful hints. Even 15 years ago this cookbook sold for $10!!
There is some wear and a few little stains on the covers from use and re-shelving. A bit of wear on the back cover at the bottom edge where is meets the comb spiral. Top ring of comb binder has a small piece missing, but it won't effect the pages. INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing.
Chapters include: Appetizers, Breads & Rolls, Cakes & Cookies, Desserts, Main Dishes, Meat, Poultry, Seafood, Side Dishes, Soups, Salads, Celebrities, Celebration Menus and Misc. There is an average of 2-3 recipes per page and each recipe has the name of the contributing cook...An above average collection of recipes!
