Here's a nice hard cover cookbook from the 1968 TIME LIFE Series--Foods of the World titled:
The COOKING of SCANDINAVIA
This hard cover cookbook measures 8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches tall with 205 pages including index. The cookbook is in lightly used condition with just a little shelf wear and rubbing to the edges of the covers from use and re-shelving. A little wear on the back cover from storage, but minimal. INSIDE, the pages are clean and at least 99% free from marks, stains or writing.
Chapters include: A Taste of Nature, Dane's National Pastimes, Norway's Elemental Foods, Sweden's Groaning Board, A Return to Native Cookery, Aquavit: The Water of Life, Vigorous Diet of Finland, Baking Refined to an Art, and Christmas: Antidote to Darkness.
