This comb bound cookbook is in very nice condition for its age with just a little wear to the covers and edges from reading and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
It not only contains recipes but contains some spiritual guidance through poems, personal stories about overcoming problems and hardships, Bible quotes and advise. Also contains many black and white photos of recipes prepared.
With 128 pages, this recipe book contains hundreds of recipes. Contents: Appetizers, Soups, Fish, Meat Dishes, Vegetable, Salads, Breads Cakes, Cookies, Desserts, Pies, Foreign Dishes, Children's Dishes, Sandwiches, Quantity Recipes, Jams and Jellies, Pickles, Relish and Household hints. Every other page contains a poem, wise advise, stories and biblical advise. Nice vintage!
