Here is a great vintage cookbook (circa 1949) from the Northernite Circle Military Order of Lady Bugs.
This wire bound cookbook measures 5 1/2 inches wide by just under 8 inches tall with 117 pages. The covers had a film over the soft cover boards that is beginning to flake a bit and coming away from the covers. The front cover has creases that go from the top to the bottom from use of the book. INSIDE the pages show foxing from age, but light and uniform. The pages have a very few faded splashes on only a few pages--two pages (the PIES chapter) has a bit more stains.
In the back of the cookbook are ads from businesses in Minneapolis and the Twin Cites area.
There is an average of 2-4 recipes per page.
