AMERICAN PEOPLES COOK BOOK (Cookbook)
From the staff home economists of the Culinary Institute of America with Melanie De Proft and Spencer Press in Chicago.
From 1956, this cookbook is in very lightly used for its age with minimal wear to the front and back covers from use and re-shelving. The bottom corner tips of the front and back covers show a bit of wear and a bump with marks from re-shelving--see pics. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
The cookbook has a whopping 600 pages including index. I found a mistake---the paper that covers the inside front cover and first page is actually UPSIDE down! There is a small bit of paper missing on the first page where there is a picture of food--it has a book seller's sticker that was removed and it took a very small piece of the paper.
Otherwise, the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. There are a few faded splash stains on the side of the book, but for its age, this cookbook is in very nice condition.
