Here is a wonderful copy of the vintage 1933 cookbook titled... THE SERVICE COOK BOOK (Cookbook) by Ida Bailey Allen. This recipe collection was published exclusively for F. W. Woolworth Company.
This wire spiral bound cookbook is in very nice condition for its age with just a little wear to the covers from reading and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages show a little foxing from age. There is an old price in pencil from a book store on the title page and I could only find a few faded splashes on a page or two. Otherwise, the page are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
Mrs Baily did a radio program for homemakers. This little cookbook is PACKED with recipes! The most unusual way of printing out recipes I have seen. (See the pics!) And a cookbook that was published during the great Depression.
