Here is a great copy of a hard to find cookbook written by Anita Bryant titled...BLESS THIS FOOD Family Cookbook.

The dust jacket shows a bit of wear at the top and bottom edges from reading and re-shelving-- only a few very small tears at the bottom. A bit of discoloration on the back cover by the spine. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. Stated 1st Edition from 1975.

Former Miss Oklahoma, pop singer, happy ""wife and mother in a Christian household,"" has assembled a cookbook with incantations and prayers in between chapters. But there's lots for youngsters or picnics or church get-togethers. Peanut butter abounds along with marshmallows and instant glops of all kinds but after all the recipes are simple as well as bless-ed (instant pudding fingerpaint; broccoli topped with Rice Krispies) and the Florida Orange Juice girl could hardly omit one for the Citrus Commission which is a real pip: it's called Grandma's Gelatin and consists of a package of gelatin, 1 cup of boiling water and 1 cup of Florida orange juice.

And just so you know...
Anita Jane Bryant (born March 25, 1940, in Barnsdall, Oklahoma) is an American singer and gay rights opponent. She scored four Top 40 hits in the United States in the late 1950s and early 1960s, including "Paper Roses", which reached number 5.

She later became widely known for her strong views against homosexuality and for her prominent campaigning in 1977 to repeal a local ordinance in Dade County, Florida, that prohibited discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation. In addition to the Florida campaign, she made public appearances in several other states in order to argue for the repeal of local anti-discrimination ordinances. As a result of her activism, she became a nationally known figure, sparking boycotts of products she advertised for. By the early 1980s she had receded from public view, and later returned to the music industry, but with little success. Bryant is a member of a conservative church congregation affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention.
