The Great Afghan Book is a treasury of 70 afghan designs to knit, crochet, make in afghan stitch, broomstick lace or hairpin lace.
Included are afghans for babies and children, as well as adults. Some are tailored, some very feminine. Several feature beautiful cross stitch embroidery on afghan stitch backgrounds.
Even the inexperienced needleworker will find a wide choice here—including 10 afghans so simple and quick to make they’re called “Easiest Afghans.”
Knitters will delight in four designs made from knitted “granny squares”—a unique new concept. Several designs are adapted from old favorite quilt patterns, including the Log Cabin and Ship of Dreams.
