Here is a wire bound soft cover cookbook titled.. Early American Recipes Traditional Recipes New England Kitchens ... and it dated 1953.
This cookbook is in very good condition for its age with minimal wear to the covers from reading and storage. INSIDE the first page has an old price in pencil from a used book dealer. Otherwise the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing.
A collection of New England Family-Favorite "Rules". The book contains a wholesome array of Old-Time food, flavored with nostalgia and as inviting as the authors 1809 Farm Kitchen at Moultonboro, New Hampshire.
Chapters include:Chowders - Soups - Stews, Breads, Fish & Seafood, "Fillin" Dishes, Vegetables, Cakes & Cookies, Puddin's & Pies, Jams - Jellies - Preserves. There are 112 pages with no index with just one recipe per page - and the recipe has been written out by hand. A cute little cookbook!
