PLUS it is a 1st edition ---full letter numbers (see pics) This book from 1983 is in glanced at condition with minimal wear to the dust jacket and covers from use and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of marks, stains or writing BUT the pages show tanning (foxing) around the edges of the pages from age and the grade paper they used. First blank page has personal library stamp. A very nice copy!
Briefly traces the history of baking, and provides new and traditional recipes for fruit, custard, and main-dish pies, tarts, yeast breads, quick breads, and bar, drop, and rolled cookies.
