If you are looking at this cookbook, you may know that this is a rare comb bound cookbook from 1976 titled... Suomalais-Amerikalainen Keittokirja (Finnish-American Cookbook) Written by Alice E. Kivi.
Taken from Suomalais-Amerikalainen Keittokirja by Mina Walli, published in New York 1911. It's a bilingual cookbook published during the fad of having Finnish cooks (See for example, The Great Gatsby).
This comb bound soft cover cookbook is in good used condition. The front cover shows some wear around the edges and fading from the sun in the kitchen. INSIDE the page are at least 97% free of any marks, stains or writing.
The names of the dishes are in English and the instructions in Finnish. This way you could simply point to the foods you wanted for dinner.
The recipes are horribly complicated affairs that show what was in fashion in New York at before WWI and the way the author attempts to explain them in archaic Finnish gives the whole thing an air of comedy.
