Here is an amazing and rare self published cookbook from 1951 ( a first edition with only 5,000 copies) titled...My Favorite Recipes by Mrs. F. Schmidt. This soft cover, comb bound cookbook is in good used condition for its age with some wear to the front and back covers from some use and re-shelving. INSIDE the page are at least 97% free of any major marks, stains or writing. A bit of foxing around the edges from age. A few recipes have small notes or changes in the recipes. The cookbook measures and has 278 pages. Chapters include: Cocktails, Soups, Fish, Salad Dressings, Salads, Chicken Dishes, Meat - Cheese - Luncheon Dishes, Vegetables, Breads & Rolls, Pancakes & Waffles, Cakes, Cookies, Icings, Pies, Desserts, Frozen Desserts, Sauces & Fillings, Candy, Canning, Christmas and Scandinavian Delicacies, Cooking Hints, Weights and Measures. There is an average of three recipes per page. One page has a list of foods suitable for Smörgåsbord.
