It was originally created in 1996 by the Madison Area CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) Coalition to help our CSA members make the most of the wide variety of produce they received from their farms each week. 17,000 copies later this book has become an indispensable tool for CSA members, farmers, market enthusiasts, and gardeners across the U.S. and beyond.
This soft cover, comb bound book (cookbook) is in good used condition with just a little wear to the covers from use and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. The book measures aprox. 8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches tall with 195 pages.
Chapters include: Food for thought (Great info for local farmers, etc.), and "The Vegetables" in alphabetical order with recipes, Recipes by the season, and Resources. There is an average of 4 recipes per page--on pages that have recipes.
