Here is another great Minnesota church cookbook. This one is from Minneapolis, MN (Minnesota) and the parish of St Anthony of Padua in NE Mpls. The cookbook celebrates their 125th Anniversary in 1974. This soft cover, comb bound cookbook is in used and loved condition with some wear and stains to the front and back covers. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. The first page (which is an ad for a funeral home) has the original owners name at the top.)
I like this cookbook for several reasons; The cookbook committee gave a page of credit to those who worked on the cookbook along with the name of contributing cooks with recipes. Chapters were clever (Recipes from VIPs, Men Only, etc) cute clip-art for the chapter pages, Index in the back breaks down recipes into their categories (cakes). The cookbook publisher offered extra pages of information that help cooks know more.
