Here is another great Minnesota church cookbook. This one from Lafayette Minnesota--from the First Lutheran church. Although not dated, from the font and recipes I would guess it is from the mid 1970's into the early 1980's.
This recipe collection is a soft cover, spiral wire spine. The front and back covers show minimal wear from reading and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing. Chapters include: Appetizers - Dips - Beverages, Breads & Rolls (including quick, yeast, pancakes, waffles and donuts), Cakes & Frostings, Cookies - Bars - Candy, Desserts - Pastry - Pies, Food Preservation, Healthy & Natural foods (diet recipes plus sugar and salt free), Heritage (the jackpot of cookbooks in Minnesota because of Scandinavian recipes. This cookbook has global recipes that are great), Meats - Casseroles (aka HOT DISH) and Sauces, Microwave, Salads & Dressings, Soups & Sandwiches, Vegetables. LOVE the way this cookbook was organized--name of each recipe on the chapter page and in a colored piece of paper.
