Here is a wonderful rare copy of the Betty Crocker Picture Cookbook vintage 1950 --hard cover cookbook that is a 1st Edition--3rd Printing. NOTE: THIS IS THE BOOK edition - NOT the binder!
The front cover shows fading at the spine and top inch or so. (The cookbook was in the sun and another book was up against it--hence, the fading at the top and spine side of the front cover.) Some rubbing at the tips and corners from re-shelving. Spine is faded too. But it doesn't look like the cookbook was used much at all.
INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing. Page 58 has some reside from Page 59 (yellow chapter page that has some splashes) and a few faded stains on a few pages but minor. If it wasn't for the fading, this would be a great copy for its age!
