Here is a wonderful copy of a classic from scratch cookbook titled... Farm Journal COUNTRY COOKBOOK More than 1,000 tested recipes and this cookbook was published in 1959. What makes this copy so special is that is still has its dust jacket (in a mylar wrap). There is just a bit of wear to the DJ's edges and tips from reading and re-shelving but it did a nice job of protecting the covers. Tips of the covers show just a bit of wear and rubbing from being bumped. INSIDE the title page has an old price in pencil at the top of the page from an old bookstore. Otherwise, the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing.
This cookbook has 420 pages with six full-page color photos and 25 chapters in this "from scratch" recipe collection and it includes.... Company Specials, Dishes to Tote, Eating Outdoors, Cooking for a Crowd, Coffee Break, The Cookie Jar, Meats, Chicken & other Poultry, Potatoes, Eggs, Butter & Cream, Milk & Cheese, Apples, Special Sweetenings, From the Garden, From the Freezer, Homemade Relishes, and MORE! There is an average of 4 recipes per page.
