Here is a rare find! TWO vintage hard cover cookbooks devoted to French cuisine. The first one is titled: LOUIS DIAT'S FRENCH COOKING FOR AMERICANS (author of Cooking a la Ritz). Stated 1st Edition from 1946. The dust jacket of this book is in used condition with some wear and tears around the edges of the front and back covers and spine. Inside front cover has an old price in pencil. Otherwise, the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
The second one is titled.. André Simon's French Cook Book "The Art of Good Living, " a dictionary of seafood and vegetables, 52 complete luncheon and dinner menus with recommended vintages, and glossaries of culinary terms and wines. This book too has a bit of wear to the dust jacket from use, age and storage. INSIDE the pages are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
