Here is a rare, vintage apron that was a souvenir of Los Angeles DECADES ago! What makes this apron even more special is that it looks like it has been packed away all this time and NEVER USED OR WORN because there is a tag still attached! (See pics--but check back. I will try and post better pictures.)
The apron measures just over 15 1/2 inches wide by 19 inches long (from the top edge to the bottom edge of the apron.) The apron "strings" measure 18 inches long each edge of the apron so this would be great for someone who is a size SMALL or MEDIUM (so you can tie the apron) or you can frame it!
I'm not going to wash the apron---will leave that to you, but I believe that it has never been washed or used, but it does show some light storage soil at the folds of the apron--but minimal. The tag that is still attached says it is "Cactus Cloth" and hand printed. In silk-screened colors of red, yellow and blue.
The scenes around LA are...Hollywood & Vine, Grauman's Chinese Theater, Memorial Coliseum (Bruins & Trojans), Santa Anita and Hollywood Park, Television City, Chinatown, Motion Pictures Studio. Brown Derby, Show Girls, Fast Car, Hollywood Bowl and a few more...oh! The LA Dodgers, so it's from 1958 to ???
