Sure! JUST ASK! Now it may take me a day to get the pictures back to you, but I would be happy to give you more information and/or pictures!

How often do you ship?
Due to the rise in the price of gas, on average, your purchase is mailed within 1-3 business (Monday through Friday) days after your purchase. It depends on how many things I have to mail out. (Just your order may have to wait a day 'till another order comes in.) When your item has been mailed out, Google or Paypal will send you an e-mail and a tracking number.
Remember, if you have bought a book, it is being mailed via media rate mail can take up to three weeks with an average of 5-10 days. Everything has a tracker, so if you haven't gotten it within two weeks, PLEASE get back to me and I can check on its progress.
Everything that isn't mailed via media rate will either be sent via priority rate or parcel post-----PLEASE don't hesitate to let me know if you need something FAST...we can work it out!

What payment methods do you accept?
Of course Paypal accounts accepts credit or debit cards, as well as e-checks and balance transfers. Payment using Paypal must be completed in two hours or the sale could be canceled.
If you prefer to send payment via snail mail, I accept a money order, but you contact me with your shipping address to confirm the sale.

What if I am not satisfied with my item?
PLEASE let me know RIGHT AWAY! (Within 2 days of the tracking slip saying the item was delivered--all sales are final.)
My items are vintage or even antique and what may be wonderful to me might not be as wonderful to you. That is why I try and describe everything in detail and encourage you to ASK questions BEFORE YOU BUY!
If you need even more details, I will be happy to send you pictures or more information about the item to help in your decision making.
If you are not satisfied, I want to know, but in 15 years of selling on the internet, my customers are very happy they bought from me.
If you are expecting an item that is new or mint, this is NOT the store for you! Most of these items have been owned before and if there are stains or writing--specifically in the cookbooks--I will let you know.

Do you ever have a sale on your items?!
Yes, you can watch for a sale on an item, but I try and have fair prices based on their rarity, vintage and condition, but if you are interested in something, we may be able to negotiate! JUST ASK!
And remember that there's great savings with combined shipping--just let me know what you are interested in, and I can change the shipping charges before you check out.

Where do you get your books and things?!
I started shopping at estate sales, rummage sales, church sales, etc when I was 12 years old and, have not stopped shopping! But, after decades of finding favorite things, and the fact that I am out of room, it's time for someone else to enjoy what I have found.
I take the photographs, I write the descriptions, post the sale and ship everything myself. It's a labor of love. It's also a pleasure to sell my things to someone who will hopefully LOVE it as much as I have!
Unless stated, all of the items are in good to very good condition and are smoke-free--and pet-free (although if it's from an estate sale, I can't be sure of the pet situation.)

What about combined shipping?
With books, since they are being mailed via MEDIA RATE mail, it would be a great savings for you to buy a few books! Just contact me and I'll be able to help you with a shipping cost.
With other objects, they would have to be shipped via parcel post or priority rate mail.

How do you pack your books?
I want these great books to arrive in the same good condition that they were when I took their picture. So, they are placed in a new plastic bag, then wrapped in bubble wrap and mailed in a NEW book box (if they are heavy) or in a bubble-wrapped envelope.
ALL packages mailed out have a tracker because media rate mail can take up to three weeks to arrive, with an average time of a week. IF you haven't gotten your book, check the tracker or get back to me!

What about shipping to Alaska & Hawaii?
Unfortunately, with media rate mail, getting your books could take up to 6 weeks! Every once and a while it's sooner, so as an option, sending them via priority rate mail could make delivery quicker--but buy a few so that I can fill a flat rate box for the same price! So, right now, the price is for priority rate mail--and I pay any difference--a great deal for you! The only thing I can't offer is a tracking number, but I will send you a picture of the postal receipt.
If you bought something other than a book, priority rate mail is your only option.

What is covered in shipping and handling?!
The actual price of shipping plus a very small amount to cover the cost of packing materials. I try and use new boxes and pack everything well with bubble wrap so that your item gets to you in the same condition that it left me. Then, there's a little money for gas....
IF by chance I've seriously miscalculated the cost, I'll adjust it for you and you'll get a rebate.

I would appreciate feedback from you once you've received your purchase and are happy.
If you feel there's a problem, you LET ME KNOW so that we can work it out. Communication is VERY important to me.

If I pay with a money order, what are the terms?
It should take less than a week to have your payment reach me, so the item you want won't be available to others for a week--on the 7th day, if payment hasn't been received, the item will be re-posted in my store so that others have a chance to buy it. When your money order is received, your item will be mailed out in 1-2 business days.

Can I get a recipe from a specific cookbook?
I get this questions so much, that I have to say that if you want the recipe, you can buy the book! I am asked for recipes weekly and can't take the time to find the recipe and respond to your request. There is a copyright on most cookbooks, so I can't share it anyway.
Have you tried the library?! They might have the cookbook you are looking for. Check with other family members. They could have a copy.

How much time do I have to pay if using Google or Paypal?
Payment must be made within 2 hours of clicking on the "BUY IT NOW" button through Google or Paypal. If you haven't checkout out, so that I get confirmation of payment, the item could remain available for sale.
If you have started to check out but failed to complete the sale by NOT paying, I will NOT contact you because there is a large increase in bogus purchases. Payment is your responsibility and re-posting the item is my option when you haven't completed the transaction.

What if I don't get what I ordered?
I TRACK everything so we'll know where it is. But I CAN NOT guarantee delivery, so you can always add insurance. Since books don't 'break' you probably won't need it, but I can not be responsible for items lost in the mail.
Before you contact me, check with USPS.com and cut and paste the confirmation number. It should show the day to day progress of the package. If it shows it was delivered and you don't have it, check with your local post office. If no answer from the post office, please e-mail me ASAP!

What if I change my mind about buying something?
If the item has not been shipped and you cancel the order within 2 hours of the order, I can cancel the order with no extra charge.
If the item HAS been shipped, you will be charged for shipping only, and only AFTER the item has been returned. It has to be UNOPENED and in the same condition that it was mailed.

If there is a problem, please e-mail me right away with the specifics of your concern and your phone number and with a good time to call you.
If you are asking a question, I don't call customers, but I do answer e-mail, usually within a business day.

Will you send me information about one of your items?
Unless you buy the item, the information stays with the item. (This includes recipes, sewing instructions, etc.) It costs time and money to fulfill requests and it is amazing how many people want information for fr-not even offering compensation! Wish I had the time and money to help, but you will have to find your information elsewhere. Happy hunting.
