Here's a rare Out of Print, 1st Print/1st Edition and SIGNED quilting book titled: Papercuts and Plenty (Baltimore Beauties and Beyond): Studies in Classic Album Quilt Applique
This OOP, hard to find soft cover quilt instruction book is a bit more special because is it a 1st Edition/1st Printing and SIGNED by the author book! The front and back covers show just light wear from storage an re-shelving. INSIDE, the title page has the author's signature and inscription under the title and in the upper right corner, in pencil is the original price of the book, and that crossed off and another price printed in small numbers. The rest of the pages are in very good condition with the rest of the pages 98% free of any marks, stains or writing.
Easy to learn, the techniques behind papercut albums (using single-layer appliques) are clearly demonstrated in this book, which also deals with the lush depictions of fruit that characterize many of Baltimore's antebellum albums.
