Here's a very RARE* Norwegian and Swedish cookbook written by Evelyn Young (who passed away September 29, 2005 at age 93).
In 1949 she became director of food services at GUSTAVUS ADOLPHUS COLLEGE in St. Peter, Minnesota when her husband, Gus, accepted the position of head basketball coach. She made 4,000 cookies by her self for the Royal Affair in 2003 at age 91. *RARE--There are less than 10 copies of this book posted for sale on the internet.

This spiral bound (plastic spine) recipe book is from 1980. The cookbook measures 8 inches wide by 9 inches tall with 97 pages including index.
The cookbook is in VERY lightly used condition for its age with minimal wear at the top and bottom edges of the covers from use and re-shelving, wear the spine meets the front cover at the top of the book. A couple of very light scratches on the back cover that only show on the film covering the covers and Evelyn's picture has faded a little. Hard to take a picture of a black glossy cover.
INSIDE, the pages are at least 99% clean and free from writing and stains and marks. Chapters include: Breads, Cookies (pages 19-39), Desserts & Cakes, Hors D'oeuvres and Beverages, Main Courses and Vegetables, Soups & Salads. With an average of one-two recipes per page.
