With an introductory of the author, a history of canning, and the Amish home with some pictures. Cookbook has 186 pages of Amish recipes. The cookbook measures 6" wide by 9" tall. Chapters include recipes for appetizers, pickles, relishes, soups, salads, vegetables, main dishes, breads, rolls, pastry, cakes, cookies, desserts, candy, jelly, preserves, beverages and miscellaneous, cold packing and freezing.
