This hard cover book is in lightly used condition with minimal wear to the covers from reading and re-shelving. INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or writing.
This book contains illustrated step-by-step how-to for 30 easy-to-make scrap quilts, using the latest rotary cutting and quick piecing techniques. A variety of project sizes shown, from wall hangings to king-size quilts and everything in between. Most projects also have "size variations" charts, listing requirements for alternative sizes. All of the instructions are written and tested by experienced editors. Designs vary from traditional patchwork and appliqué that were collected from outstanding quiltmaker nationwide. The designs include never-before-seen originals and all-time favorites that are updated for today's tastes and techniques
The directions are clear, the quilts are all beautifully illustrated and include templates. There are some unusual patterns included as well, like a 1920's teacup quilt.
In addition, there are size variations included so that you will know how to take a twin pattern and enlarge it to a king-size etc., The book will also tell the reader IF it is not recommended that a pattern be enlarged.
