When communities get together to create a community cookbook, every once and a while, the creator fails to give much information about the city or state where the people live. THIS is one such cookbook. I had NO idea what state it came from, until I started Googling information.
Willow City in ND was founded in 1889 according to Wikipedia, and I Googled one of the unique names in the cookbook committee and she is in North Dakota.
This soft cover comb bound cookbook is in very nice condition with minimal wear to the covers and INSIDE the pages are at least 99% free of any marks, stains or wriitng.
Chapters include: Appetizers - Relishes - Pickles, Soups - Salads - Sauces. Main Dishes (Casseroles), Meats - Seafood - Poultry, Vegetables, Breads - Pies - Pastry, Low-Cal Dishes, Cakes - Cookies - Confections, Desserts, Beverages - Sandwiches - Mics and Cooking Hints. There are 161 pages plus index with an average of three recipes per page.
