Here is a wonderful soft cover, wire spiral bound cookbook from the First Lutheran Church in St Peter Minnesota. There is no specific date, but it is between 1951 and 1956 because they look forward to their centennial in 1957.
This cookbook is in good used condition with some wear to the covers from use, age and storage. INSIDE the pages are at least 96% free of any marks, stains or writing. There are some faint splash stains, a few penciled notes on favorite recipes liked by the cookbook's first owner.
Chapters include: Breads, Cakes, Candy, Cookies, Desserts, Icings, Foreign Recipes, Meat and Hot Dishes, Pies and Pastries, Pickling and Preserving, and Salads and Salad Dressings. The foreign recipes include many old school Swedish recipes. There is an average of 5 recipes per page and the pages are sprinkled with ads from local merchants. Phone numbers are three digits!!
