Scarce cookbook! Only found two of them on Google shopping! From Audrain County Historical Society - Mexico, Missouri here is a soft cover, comb bound cookbook titled.. Bicentennial Cookbook
This comb bound, soft cover cookbook is in good used condition with just a little wear to the covers from use and re-shelving. Back cover has a few faded small stains. INSIDE, the inside cover has a gift inscription from one of the contributors of the book to her granddaughters and dated 1975 (see pics) Otherwise the page are at least 98% free of any marks, stains or writing--except for a small note on the recipe that "Granny" has in the cookbook and that note is priceless! NOTE: There is a faint "stored in the attic" scent to the cookbook --NOT smoke, and you have to bury your nose in the book. Just so you know...
Now what is interesting about this book is that the ten recipes that appear as the first recipes in each of the book's ten sections are reprinted from "The President's Cookbook". The Copyright date for this cookbook is 1968 however this is a Bicentennial issue so actual date of publication is circa 1976. Calender in rear of book covers 1975-77. There are 109 pages PLUS index with an average of 2-3 recipes per page.
Chapters include: A section before the recipes for helpful kitchen hints, and then...
